What instruments do you have?

I'll always have a small but mixed selection available - just ask me

We are not a general retailer of instruments, so what we have will depend upon what restoration projects David has been working on. We'll generally have a mix though of trumpets, cornets and the occasional flugelhorn.

We'll have instruments from classic brand names from well known and trusted manufacturers. They will range in age from 2 to 20+ years old but, in the brass world that doesn't matter. Older instruments often have much higher production standards than the cheaper new instruments and they just play and sound better.

..but I can always help with student instruments

Part of my inspiration for getting into brass repair came from by helping young players wade through the 'noise' to find quality instruments that would enhance their playing and learning (and would not break the bank). I enjoy it. There are lots of instruments out there on the web - but many of dubious quality at even more dubious prices. I personally source and restore these instruments and then provide them at the same kind of prices you will find on eBay (but with the reassurance that you are getting one that is in top working order).

If I don't have the right instrument for you at the time, I can always help you identify what would be ideal (and hopefully source one for you). I can advise on what brands, models and types of instrument might be right for you and your playing. I can advise what you should be looking to pay for it too!
